cl-db3 software package provides Common Lisp lib to read dbf files version 3, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cl-db3
cl-db3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cl-db3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cl-db3 *
You will get with cl-db3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
